The Totem pole appears in Balto II: Wolf Quest it has lots of Totem animals that appear and disappear.

The Totem doesn't do much but the totem mainly foreshadowed on who Balto is gonna interact soon when he is finding Aleu. The totem seen to stalk about in his dreams, mainly using the raven to follow him around.
