Balto

When Balto was going back to his boat, after meeting Steele, he encounters a pack along the way. Unlike Nome where all the dogs seem and act all hostile to him, the pack seem to be accepting Balto to be their new member but Balto refuses. As Balto goes back, the pack goes somewhere and to never to be seen again.

• Their models would be reused and recolored in the sequels
• This is the only wolf pup we see in the series.
• The wolf leader is the largest wolf in the family.
• Since the wolf pup is stopped and protected by the light-grey wolf, which is smaller than the leader and a bit bigger than the grey wolf, the light-grey wolf is most likely a female and a mate of the leader. While the grey wolf, who shows friendlyness toward Balto, is their elder cub.
• In Balto: The Movie Storybook, the wolf leader is a male.
• In Balto: The Movie Storybook, the White Wolf is replaced by the wolf pack in the scene of Balto's self-acceptance. There the wolf leader encouragely howls to Balto instead of the White Wolf.
• In Balto: The Sticker Album, the smell of the wolf pack was familiar for Balto, implying that it can be the pack of his wolf parent.
