The Hunter is a one-time character in Balto II: Wolf Quest. He mainly serves why Balto should tell Aleu about her wolf heritage.
Balto II: Wolf Quest[]
The Hunter takes aim at Aleu who sees him and happily runs to him, thinking he'll adopt her, but he's just gonna shoot her when Balto comes in the nick of time to save her by pouncing on him. Balto and the Hunter have a tug of war over the gun then Boris, Muk and Luk come to help him. Boris pulls the Hunter's hood, but not before yelling, "Goose to the rescue!" and Muk and Luk run against a log that they were using as seesaw down the hill and knock the Hunter over. After that, the animals leave the forest, but the Hunter remains unharmed.

- It's unknown whether he's hunting with legal permission or not.
- He's dressed similar to Amos Slade from Disney's 24th animated film The Fox and the Hound.
- His only quote is, "The spirits must be trying to trick me."
