Biography[]

Balto[]

In the beginning of the film, Grandma Rosy is walking through a park in New York with her granddaughter and Blaze, her granddaughter's dog. Rosy is looking for something but gets lost, causing her granddaughter to ask what. Shortly, Rosy takes a break and begins to explain that they are looking for memorial. She then begins telling the story of Balto, and the film transitions into animation.

After the explanation, they ended up finding the statue. Her granddaughter wanted to know if Balto did do all that as she explains that yes. She then tells her while looking at the dog that if they want that to happen, it'll take a lot of training. They start to leave then she talks to the statue then reveals herself to be Rosy.

Her Granddaughter

She will be seen with her during the opening, she wants to show her something that means to Rosy a lot but since she gets lost, she decides to explain why the memorial matters so much. Rosy is patient and loving with her even when her granddaughter gets impatient. She has also given her the hat that Balto gave back to her as a child.

Balto

She is very grateful to Balto after all these years, telling the statue of him, "Thank you, Balto. I would've been lost without you.", like she told the real Balto as a child.

Blaze

Rosy believes Blaze will need a lot of practice to become a sled dog due to his playfulness.



Trivia[]

  • Due to the real Balto not doing most of these, some people have theories that she is either remembering things wrong, making stuff up or lying.
    • Getting things wrong is more likely what happened since it has been 70 years since her life was saved as result of Balto delivering the vaccaines.
